welcome to CEO insights I'm Marilyn de Gusman with Inn I'm speaking with Elaine Lambert executive chairman of prismo medals hi Elaine hello good to be with you here at Pak yes good to see you again so when we were uh when we last spoke at V I actually you provided some insights on the strategy for Palos parades and visas ver acquisition U you know eventual acquisition what has been the development since and how is the collaboration with vland going great well thanks for the question so um uh
let's remind your your viewers yes that pados veres is a silver Prospect in Mexico and it's one of our Flagship properties and we're completely surrounded by viszla silver which is a large company uh that owns the rest of the district where we are uh they just closed last week a $34 million bot deal and we have a strategic relationship with them so they own about 10% of our company uh we establish a technical committee between the two companies to go about exploring the Northeast part of
the district and um and we have exciting plans this year together for that property so can you talk a bit more about those exciting plan so what are the next steps for Paulo's veres yes absolutely so pao's ver we've uh had three drilling campaigns on this property and um and we've had banza grades uh that are very similar to what uh our partners V vizla silver has found in the southeast part sorry Southwest part of the district and um and so our technical people looked at all of these
uh drilling results late last year early this year and we have established an upcoming um drilling campaign the fourth one and this one is uh meant to go deeper into the property and in order to go deeper we're going to step out the drilling pads onto viszla property which they have already permitted and I will'll be able to drill further down deeper into the Palos veres prismal property and uh we're hoping to uh to start that sometime next month right and in addition to Palos Verdes you also
have Los pavitos which you have recently announced some exploration results could you talk about the highlights from those results yes absolutely so uh Los pavitos is a very large Gold prospect in Sola state so it's 5,300 hectors so it's quite large uh when we acquired it from U minera cascabel uh a company that's uh in which our one of our advisers co-founder Peter mcy is involved um it had not seen much exploration so we spent uh the better part of a year and a bit doing surface work lighter surveys sampling and we
like what we saw and we conducted our first drilling campaign last year in 20203 and we had exceptional results through the uh the entire program and uh and we announced that the perspective Zone was extended quite considerably so the next thing for us is to run some geophysics and later this year to probably resume drilling so in addition to that you also have the hot breta property which I believe you're exploring at the same time um uh provide our view viewers sort of an overview of that project why it's
compelling and update on that exploration uh program there yes well we believe that H breta will uh be top of mine uh with investors very shortly and there are a number of reasons why I said that one is um we are waiting for the drilling permit so it's a property that we optioned over a year ago we did considerable amount of surface work again like what we saw uh the company was drilled in the late 70s and 80s and we have some of those results so so we like that and we applied for a a drilling permit hopefully we get it next
month I would said the latest in in April and and then we will start drilling probably twinning some of the old holes I mean it's a very large copper project and it's in the heart of the Arizona copper belt so it's just adjacent to the old Christmas mine it's um about 25 30 mil south of resolution which is the third largest copper resource in the world and uh and even closer to the the r mine uh which is a copper mine that's been in operating for over 100 years so I investors will hear
a lot about our upcoming Drilling and will keep them in form of progress right do you anticipate you know with your golden copper projects are you anticipating more once you have the drilling permits for um from hot creta to be more focused on that as you sort of um you know with Palos veres and you eventually move that over to his La so I will I will answer it this way um so we will spend the most amount of money this year on H breta yes by by uh uh by a lot so and part of it is because these are
deep holes probably 600 meters to 1,000 meters but we're really excited about the prospects we read some geophysics that uh um even reinforce as enthusiasm for the the potential so you yeah in that answer your question yes it will be uh the main focus this year in terms of dollars spent on exploration um and then uh we will be drilling shortly as I said on Palos veres but for um Los pavitos that's probably resuming drilling on in the second half of this year all right so if you're speak we're here at pdac you know
you're speaking to investors what do you say to them why um prismo medals is a compelling investment opportunity this time well we we like to um uh we look at what happened last year with uh in the copper space um and um I would like to say well uh I think all of your viewers will have heard of Hercules silver they've made a tremendous Discovery uh they've got a great exploration team they got a great project and and the shareholders uh were uh re rewarded when they uh made a significant uh copper por free this
