welcome to CEO insights I'm Marilyn De Guzman with Inn I'm speaking with Geraldine dangu Chief scientific officer at cerona biocam hi Geraldine hi pleasure to discuss with you today yes good to see you again so the last time we spoke was in 2023 and you were talking about at that time your anti-aging Discovery just for the purpose of the viewers who have not seen that interview could you just provide a brief overview of that Discovery the tfc's 1326 yes I can uh we have developed a new uh cosmetic anti-aging active TFC
1326 which has an amazing efficacy profile on the different cell typ types present in the skin layer uh they work by uh protecting preserving the cell from external stress especially oxidative stress but also by inducing lipid yonic acid and collagen synthesis and by reducing inflammation knowing that inflammation increase with aging we also perform on this product um safety clinical trial on 100 volunteers without any effect by any bad effect and and it was really well tolerated by all the volunteers uh it performs also
extremely well in a clinical in efficacy clinical trial on 20 volunteers uh where it leads to not only measurable but also visible results um it's um improved the skin aspect the skin texture uh the skin Radiance but it also decrease the fun F Lin the wrinkles and um and reduce also the skin laxity so it it GES very good results and and it acts in the different mechanism of action that other active it doesn't exhaust the cell by pushing them to outperform but it restore the efficacy of the cell as if they were at a younger
stage so it's works like a Rejuvenation product yeah so that that's such a significant discover Discovery um since then what has happened uh on that uh product and what um strategy has been in place for that so different things have been done uh since the last we had we participate to the last bio in Boston in order to be Prospect so we still have ongoing discussion and exchanging information with different company in different country but there is another alternative and very interesting alternative for us
which is maybe to push this active into a final uh cosmetic product so it was discussed with SAS strategic advisor and and we decide to go that way it doesn't prevent us to do some licensing deal in specific country but we are still pursuing a final compound to launch a final Compound on the market which is pretty good because it will allow us to have a better control on the final product we can launch fastly on the market uh we can have generate Revenue earlier and and and also the level of Revenue will be
will be higher and and this will bring also more visibility on the active so it will Al also help with the licensing part and uh usually it's more common in the Cosmetic uh industry to acquire new brand so developing a new brand it's it's a good way also to be acquired and uh usually it also lead to better deal so this is the opportunity that we we to so you've also trademarked your um the TFC 1326 um could you tell us you know what that trademark name is and um you know why that
significant that's a first step that was the first step glycoprotein is the name of the active so that's part that's that the start of the construction of the BR uh right now we engaged in other stat and for us it's it was part of the process qualify the active to to make it known for licensing and also for our final codep so um what has been the you know you've mentioned you you're you're taking steps toward commercialization so what are some of the steps that you've taken and what
steps are you going to be taken to to move towards that so different steps were in different area uh we have completed the process development so we are now able to scale up uh for any quantity the compounds uh it was a different it was a very different work for us uh to launch a final product we usually develop new actives so we build a team of experts that work with us and help us to achieve all the steps so we work with a formulator that is currently developing a premium formula we also work with a
bron cosmetic designer on a daily basis which also work with a designer an expert designer and an add in communication and influencer with her we are building the BR the brand and the and the communication around it we also work with two companies for the packaging so external packaging and inside packaging and we quite recently hire the best faal list of Paris which will help us to select the best formula for the compound and which also will put in place like a process or method to apply uh easily and with high efficiency
uh the the final product so we have now build a team and we are we are well advancing into that and we have already select packaging all the all the thing that should be required the L so um tus uh are you doing first of all I guess are you still doing more clinical trials for this yes we do have them uh if we want to sustain our cosmetic claims on wrinkle and all all this we have to this is a rule to redo the assay on the final product so this is something that will be done in the second half of the year
and uh and we will use this time also to do a a dose kind of dose response on the on the active to evaluate different concentration because it will then allow us to use it for next product when we will go to next product then we can we can use it with different concentration depending on what we want to achieve with the compound so yeah so now you know for uh viewers who are interested to see this you know final product come to Market could you talk about the timelines for the launch where the which markets are you focusing
on and and where are you launching it yes so we will um the product will be launched in one year so beginning of 2025 uh it will be a cure of 21 uls so an anti-aging cures of 21 ampul 21 for 21 days because this is the time request for cell skin renewal this is the cycle the schem renewal 21 day and uh and we will launch uh in US Canadian and shortly after in European market and and it will be also a a made in France and even a made in Paris product very exciting so what else is in store for the company uh for the future
while else can the investor Community expect uh we still pursue our development of we're working on this product first but we have also because we're constructing the BR globally we also think about the next product that will come short after different cream Different Serum in order to use this that we use this active we still continue to work on our anticellulite programs where we do have some very efficient active in this area so we have also to push this product and uh and in the lab scientist are still working on
