welcome to CEO insights I'm Marilyn dezman with Inn I'm speaking with Greg Rob president and CEO of helium Evolution a helium exploration company with a significant landholding in Saskatchewan Canada hi Greg good afternoon how are you good good to see you so you've released some recent information about the progress that you're doing at the monota Wells uh could you provide some uh highlights of the results that you've had and why these are important yeah um we've been pursuing
drilling at manota for around a year now with our partner North American helium uh testing a bunch of anomalies and um over last year last two years I guess we buil by 11 walls and number of them in the manota area and we discover with ilium in the last three um now we we proceeded with completion and testing on those Wells and some of that's ongoing um we found that we have uh economic um economic flow rates um so we're quite excited about that the the next steps are are getting further um Reservoir
evaluation you you flow them and then you shut them in for a period of time and you build up an PTA analysis and to better understand the reservoir and then we'll be proceeding uh later and it's because of surface conditions we beeding proceeding later in probably July August September with f drill pipelining and there probably bring in a in a plant and then aiming for production at the end of the year so m is is a major turning point for us so I I think one of the most significant aspects about your
project is your uh farmart agreement with North American helium and you mentioned them earlier could you talk about um why this partnership is significant for the company and the shareholders well this is a very Capital intensive project um so North American has capital and knowhow um they've been around for about 10 11 years we've around for about two and a half um so they're ahead of us uh in terms of the the database and the knowledge of the play good partner to have they're also
our our major shareholder our largest shareholder at 10% our land base initially we had 5.6 million acres and there were only five uh deep tests five data points uh so one per you know 1.1 million Acres now with more American we've added 11 new wells so we now have 16 Wells that 5.6 million Acres uh still a pretty thin datab base uh 16 walls uh over that acreage amounts to about three Wells per million Acres uh so a very very early Wildcat type of play uh but nonetheless we've made discoveries now and so um that that
relationship with North American has the very beneficial for us and we'll see how that that how that goes forward we've got lots more to explore hopefully with them as a partner we've also gained um a lot of knowledge and experience ourselves so that we can um we can start doing some some bulber things on our own although uh it's a it's a expensive risky play so we'll we'll continue to live at a measured pace and um you know sort of parlay this initial Discovery into some cash flow and uh then
contining to make decisions in our you our responsible way and and and move forward like we we happen for investors that are you know maybe not too familiar with sort of the helium market and its role as we move forward for you know we move forward towards you know uh clean energy decarbonization can you talk about uh the prospects for ium and what what its role is in our efforts towards decarbonization well it it's not specifically uh energy related it's kind of tangential but um helium is a an
important um element for use in a number of high-tech applications um the health sector uh in M machines chip manufacturing space exploration fiber optic um so it it is important in in a peripheral way to energy and and pretty much all high tech applications what has happened is that as technology has increased um demand for gum has risen and at the same time um older supplies have have diminished uh some of the the key Supply areas have have just completed and specifically the US about 40% of the World Market and they're now
like to be supplying about 20% of the World Market um but they're going to have about 30% 35% of world demand um so that that Delta needs to be made up somehow and you can make it up with offshore supplies from places like Qatar or uh Russia is going to be bringing product on or they can look to Canada and Saskatchewan to to f that boy and that's what we think uh we can play a meaningful role and do you want to talk about you have a a big um land package in Saskatchewan and you're um starting
to just I guess scratch the surface if you want to sort of provide an overview of of that land package and what makes it a compelling asset well the land package was was put together in a in a methodical way getting the database that we had um the Govern sukatan had assembled a lot of uh maps from industry geophysics um that had anomalies um that uh were possible he we called just called them wings and um so we we focused in on where these anomalies were on uh available acreage and then posted as many as we possibly
could we ended up tying up a couple hundred of them and now we've tested some um they were put together these maps are put together by a guy named swatski theu Geological Survey and we're talking data from uh the 50s and 60s uh but nonetheless uh a very unique compolation that is that has proved quite valuable most of the healing discoveries that have been made today um to dat even in last you know four or five years are associated with these what we call swatski anom blings named after the the man who call
compiled the maps so the the information has stood the test of time and so we um based our initial focus on acquiring a number of those anomali um the wells that he recently D at manoda uh the discoveries they are on those some of those AMOM as well um that said that not all of them are creative equal um and we have you to test 200 of them would take on the order of you know uh couple hundred million dollars or more uh so it's going to take time um We Get TF physics to high grade them and um sort
of separate the quality wise which are are are better category than the others uh but that's how it was put together initially and and as we go through it we'll separate the lands that we could care of a higher quality and and test them and and probably uh release other aners go forward so what's the next steps uh for the project what catalysts or can we expect and over the next uh few months well the next thing is that we have breakup coming upon us right now so it gives us a chance to assess our data
and sort of look back at you know the last period where you're moving pretty quick um the main Cod area will be a near term Focus for development and getting production online which would lead to cash flow uh maybe the fourth quarter this year that would be a a big uh big uh point for us are getting cash flow on production and then we have a a basin to the north that we that we really like we call it the the Glen bang gravel BG area where we see a lot of uh interesting anomalies and uh I think
we're going to go shoot some seism for just seis and that'll be an exploration area so we have the development at nanoda which will we focus on with our partner and then we have stuff to the morph that will uh make an exploration effort in in second half of the year and the first half for so if you're speaking to an investor right now um what is your key message why is helium Evolution a compelling investment opportunity right now well I think we're we're we're undervalued we're obviously making
progress um and um the the commodity is is a very important um very important commodity very valuable um so the economics are very compelling um and in spite of the the so the risk profile um given our methodical approach um we we've now had some success we're going to continue with that same approach and you think we're going to build this company into a uh significant Dean player and and significant build significant value for our shareholders right well thanks GRE for taking your time and speaking with me
