like to know where we rank amongst other people who are doing the same things that we're doing so to do this calculation we have to establish a few things and we have to make a few assumptions and here they are number one being that we are only counting silver bullion for investment purposes in this calculation so coins and bars we're not including paper silver unmind silver or Long John Silver the second important point that we have to establish is that we are looking only at private owners meaning we are


excluding countries and corporations and the third point in this set of assumptions is how much silver bullion actually exists today and for that we are using a range of four to five billion ounces of silver bullion and the reason we are using that range is because most reliable sources I researched estimate that there are roughly 4 billion ounces of silver bullion in circulation as of 2019. so in order to account for a growing Supply and potential errors within those estimates I have decided to add 5


billion ounces as an upper possibility of total Supply today now that we have that established there's still the matter of excluding National Silver holders and corporate silver holders and in order to establish exactly how much they have I used this data which I took from gold charts are us and it states that as of 2017 Nations and corporations held approximately 930 million ounces of silver so for the sake of our calculation we are going to adjust our total silver Supply amount down by 1 billion ounces at both ends of our range


giving us a new range of three to four billion ounces now to start our calculation we still have to understand how many people in the world actually stack silver so to do that I consulted an American survey from PR newswire which found that 10.8 percent of American adults own silver and I use that data to make some assumptions about the rest of the world's population and just to be clear when I say own silver I'm talking about coins or bars so I have taken that data and broken it down on the map just as


you see here which shows the estimated adult population above 20 years of age on each continent as well as an assumption of what percentage of that population Stacks silver based on various socioeconomic factors which gives us a total of 295.5 million silver stackers worldwide so that gives us these final assumptions upon which we will build our calculations so first you have the number of silver stackers which I just mentioned the total amount of Boolean we all have stacked and taking those two numbers we can


calculate that for every stacker there are about 10 to 14 ounces of silver bullion now that we have all of that we take our first step in our calculations which is determining how much silver the top 20 percent of stackers have and interestingly enough while preparing for this video and pouring through Global wealth statistics I discovered that the Pareto Principle actually fits pretty well to the wealth profile of silver stackers around the world and what the parental principle which is also known as the 80 20 rule states is


this 80 of the outcome results from 20 percent of the causes and for this calculation supported by the global wealth pyramid as I said we know to a pretty good degree of certainty that the top 20 percent of silver stackers worldwide hold a combined 2.4 to 3.2 billion ounces of silver whilst the bottom 80 percent are holding six to eight hundred million ounces of silver which means to be in the top 20 of silver stackers you need to have roughly 41 to 54 troy ounces of silver as the bottom 80 percent of stackers only on


average have about three ounces of silver now it may not seem like a lot of silver to be in the top 20 percent of silver stackers worldwide but just remember this that a lot of the people in the bottom part of that pyramid so in that bottom 80 percent are coming from poorer places around the world where having that much silver would be a lot of money and also a lot of those people in the bottom part of the pyramid are just Average Joe's and average Jane's with a couple silver coins laying around


the house so if you made it to the top 20 hit the like button right now let me know that you made it moving on now to the top five percent and these are people who own roughly 65 to 75 of the world's wealth and for this calculation we are going to make the assumption that it is closer to 65 percent after having analyzed a little bit of that Global wealth pyramid as it pertains to the socio-economic profile of silver stackers so applying that knowledge to our silver analysis means that the top five percent of stackers


hold roughly 2 to 2.6 billion ounces of silver while the bottom 95 percent hold 1 to 1.4 billion ounces of silver splitting that per person means to be in the top five percent of silver stackers worldwide you have to have anywhere from 132 to 176 ounces of silver bullion will the bottom 95 percent have on average four to five ounces of silver and that bottom number of course being held up by the people in the top 20 percent who didn't quite make it to the top five percent and are now being lumped in with


those who held in our previous calculation on average three ounces per person okay so if you've made it this far and are still in the top five percent of silver stackers I want to say congratulations give me a hit on the like button if you've made it to the top five percent but now to get into this next Club the one percent Club you are going to need a major stack of silver because the top one percent of silver stackers are estimated By Me based on the global wealth pyramid to have about 40 percent


of all silver which means that they hold anywhere from 1.2 to 1.6 billion ounces of silver just themselves leaving 1.8 to 2.4 billion ounces for the rest of the 99 and when we split that amongst stackers well we see that to be in the top one percent of silver stackers you need to have a stack size ranging from 406 ounces of silver all the way up to 541 ounces of silver and that's a lot of silver but something makes me think that there are a lot of you out there who made the cut to the top one percent so


now if we look at all of that in one place Here's the final breakdown as I said to be in the top 20 percent of silver stackers you need to have 41 to 54 ounces of silver bullion to be in the top five percent you need to have 132 to 176 ounces of silver bullion and to be in the top one percent of all silver stackers worldwide you need to have from 406 to 541 ounces of silver minimum to be in that group and what I'd like you to do right now is just let me know in the comments what you thought of my
