You don't need it to be hyperinflation for it to completely devolve and ruin the entire economy and make everyone go broke and starve to death. Oblivious. Some might call it willful blindness. Some might say that people see what they want to see or if there's a problem, they don't look at it. Overall though, I think that we all feel kind of the same thing where we all feel sort of helpless in a situation. Even if we talk about the problems of the economy and we see them and we agree and we know that
that's what's happening and the trends are getting worse and worse. Even in that case, you still probably feel pretty helpless. What do you do about it? And if you like the fact that we never have sponsorships, please click the like button. Last time when inflation got bad, I said don't be a victim to inflation. Instead, you can take the power back. And a lot of that led to a lot of the incredible stocks that we've uncovered. But just an example of how higher grocery prices, lower affordability can add up to
devolve a society, to devolve an economy that then has a lot of follow on effects from that. Just take a look at what's going on in Iran. And I know it's completely different and a lot of the problem with the inflation was because of the sanctions, which is why if American politicians are saying let's help the people of Iran, the way to do that would be lift the sanctions. It's not hurting the Ayatollo. And gold and silver today are doing what they typically have been doing lately.
Gold right now is up $38 to 4,638. Silver is up 5.8% today. $5 per ounce of silver is up today. $5. It's trading at $9130. Even platinum's up $55 an ounce. Still dramatically undervalued. I told you before, platinum is historically twice the price of gold. That might be a trade to get into if you're looking to move some things around. I say stick with tried and true silver and gold. You'll get gains out of that. How much is enough? How much is enough? It's plenty. Just get enough to take care of the
people you care about and then stop trying to get every neck off. But you see what happened? That was set off to a great degree. Not originally, but it built because of the problems with the affordability in Iran. Incredible levels of inflation. Annual CPI was around 42.2% in December 2025 in Iran compared to a year earlier. And people say, "Wow, that must be hyperinflation." But it's not hyperinflation. Hyperinflation is an increase of 50% per month. This is just extremely insane
inflation that you can't you don't need it to be hyperinflation for it to completely devolve and ruin the entire economy and make everyone go broke and starve to death. So it leads to cost of living pressures in Iran. Food and essential prices have been rising faster than overall inflation with some reports suggesting food inflation above 70% 70 in 2025. The reason I'm telling you this, it's not about Iran. I'm trying to show you how things can go from not much at all, nothing happening, to all of a
sudden explosive uprisings based on the fuel, which is the incredibly unsustainable and unfair and extreme price increases. You go to buy 12 eggs and the price is twice what it was a year ago. Shocking. Wow, things are getting expensive. And you go back a few months later and the prices are higher again. Higher again. The affordability is absolutely diminishing. Grocery prices, you can see it with your own eyes, are increasing already. And inflation right now is the highest it's been in about 3 years, but it's just
getting warmed up. And I always tell you, there's a lot of factors when it comes to inflation. There's a lot of deflationary factors such as the absolute biggest one that's ever happened. Artificial intelligence. So many companies and firms and services do not need to hire people that they would have hired in the past. Now you can do a lot of things without hiring. And if there's one expense that's usually above all else, it's often the cost of the employees. Inflation will rise for the
reasons I've told you before, especially once they create more money. And if they devalue the dollar, forget about it. And those forces will be great enough by far to overpower the beneficial influences of things like artificial intelligence, which is bringing down inflation, increasing productivity, allowing businesses to produce more without taking on all the costs. But here's where inflation hurts is people who are more middle class or on the lower end of the income scheme. Everyday staples like this is
now in Iran. Everyday staples like bread, dairy and other basics saw sharp price increases and they also saw worsening household purchasing power. So this is just what's happening there now and it's possibly going to happen here as well too. I know there's differences. I know it's on the brink of war and I know that there's a violent uprising, but I'm saying though, when prices get out of control like they are in America, they start generating followon problems that you might not see
coming. It's not just about the one thing. It's not just about the price. It's about what it says about everything. Especially when you add in rising rental costs, rising costs to maintain a home. And I always tell you about fiat currencies. The Iranian realale has fallen in relation to the other fiat currency, the US dollar. Both of which are backed by nothing. So they just sort of float around. There's a Japanese in goes by and the euro. The Iranian realal fell to record lows in
2025. And it takes around 1.4 million realals per US dollar that you want to buy. You want my$1 US dollar, it's going to take you 1.4 million realals right now. Next week it'll be probably 1.5. You see they're just floating around in relation to each other. So you can't say the dollar is strong. The only dollar that's strong right now is gold. But as the currency collapses that makes import costs much greater. So if you're an Iranian company bringing anything in to then sell it cost you so much more to
buy in the first place. And that's also it's all showing you I'm showing you what's leading up to what's going to happen in America because things are costing more now. And as the dollar falls, as it will fall in 2026 pretty significantly, as I've been expecting for a while, as it falls, things you import cost more. So if you're going to manufacture something and bring it all together and then build it, all that stuff costs more and that goes onto the sticker price that then you charge the
consumer or you go out of business. And you're not helpless. There's always a way out of everything. And this is just unaffordability, inflation inbound. We're going to have the dollar coming down. We're going to see real estate finally start coming down. One of the ways to overcome the problems of the economy right now is to enrich yourself, make some money so that you can help yourself and take care of the people that you want to help, people that are important to you. Well, when I
was telling you that you can take the power back and I put you some stocks, someone was asking about hecka mining and that was one of the stocks that says the best company on the go. That's one of the best companies out there and it's gone up about five times over in the last half year. So, is it a good investment was the question. It's an amazing company, but it's moved from I think it was $5 to $25 in a matter of six months. It's kind of It's still worth it though, but there's more
attractive valuations in my opinion. That's what we talk about in the Peter Leads newsletter. But listen to this though because everyone thinks I'm a onetrick pony. I've been talking about this economy collapsing in writing in the Hill which is the blog for the library of the US Congress and the article I wrote was America's past the point of no return that was over two decades ago and the point of the article was that we weren't past the point of no return but there's certain things we had
to do right away to get the train back on the tracks and since then things have only devolved much worse and much worse and much worse so everything I've been warning about and this is what I'm talking about with this video. Oblivious people. I've been trying to make as much noise as I can, trying to get people's attention. And if you go back 20 years, people just roll their eyes, whatever. Who cares? Yeah, I'm sure it's fine. And it was a lot better. And then you get to
this point, it's like, oh my gosh, what do we do? That came out of nowhere. It's a clear path that I've explained the whole way. And the whole way I'm telling you what to do about it so you can land on your feet. One of the things, don't think I'm a onetrick pony with gold or with silver. One of the things I was talking about was American lithium. And listen to this. I walked away with $425,000 in profits in 7 months. And this is from Ed. And he also sent a picture of he bought his wife a
brand new Tesla with the Aino license plate just because he did so well on that stock. And he did that well on American Lithium, too. And there's uranium. There's a lot of plays going forward from here that I'm going to help steer you towards if you want to be involved with that. But there's a value to that. That's why there's a cost to that. Anything I sell is in my mind worth dramatically more than I sell it for. And just because most of the stocks we talk about have tripled now, at least
some of them, some have only gone up a little bit. There's still more time to get involved in certain companies because they're still not being treated appropriately by investors. And what I told you recently was that oil and gold both and specifically oil were not reflecting the proper threat environment in the world. And since then both oil and gold have spiked based on risk premium reinflation. That was a pretty good call. The point of all of this though is for you to take the power back. It's a decision. If you want to
take the power back, just decide to do it. The rest is easy when you truly decide. So a lot of these gold mining and silver mining companies may be looking to come down a little bit in the short term. There's always going to be profit taking. But I believe that any weakness is an actual buying opportunity even for a company like Heckla. It's a great company just because it was so low before. That's why it's five times greater now. But what's the value of it right now? It was undervalued and now
maybe it's appropriately valued. But there are ones that are so undervalued still that anybody looking to put some new money into the markets and get ahead of what's going to come out in April, which is all the quarter 4 and annual financials, get ahead of that. And that's what's going to happen too, by the way. You'll see the prices of all these stocks. It's widely known. It's kind of like a buy the rumor, sell the fact thing setting up that we're going to watch the whole way. People know that
the next annual financials coming out for all these mining companies are going to be blowout earnings. So, the stocks are going to increase as we move towards that date. Increase, increase until they're priced for perfection. That's why when the results do come out, a lot of them will come out with great results saying, "Wow, we made way more money." And the stock prices will drop. You'll see it maybe playing out like that. I'm going to watch for it. But ideally, you need to get involved in
some really high quality Peter Leadeds approved stocks that have passed leads analysis and therefore are among the companies that are going to build a lot of wealth for you and for your grandchildren.
