[Music] welcome to CEO insights I'm Marilyn dezman with investing news.com following the results of its 2024 exploration program at its Red Mountain project in Alaska silver 47 is now eyeing a potential resource growth for its assets for more on this I'm joined by Alex VP of exploration at Silver 47 good to have you Alex hi Marilyn thanks for having me so let's start our conversation maybe with just an introduction to the company can you talk about some of the key things that you want investors to know
about silver 47 uh so Red Mountain Flagship property we're very excited about uh we have 15.3 million tons at 335 gram silver equivalent and uh we're excited to develop this property we think we have significant resource expansion potential at both of the zones that the M was done at uh as as well as on our 620 square kilometer property numerous exploration targets that have never been drill tested and as I I think as I mentioned earlier you just uh re released the results of your 2024 uh
exploration program could you provide the highlights of those drill results and how these are um shaping your exploration strategy moving forward absolutely yeah we acquired the property in 2023 so 2024 was our first season uh working on the property we had a limited drill program uh we drilled several confirmation holes at both of the resource zones uh Dry Creek and West Tundra Flats um we we also completed several stepout holes to confirm continuous mineralization uh between the existing historical holes which are quite widely
spaced um our best results were from one of these infill holes uh the Dry Creek resource area we inter intersected two and a half meters of almost 3,000 grams per ton silver equivalency including 14.9 grams per ton gold and 250 grams per ton silver over that 2 and half MERS and this is all within a broad 242 meter uh Zone continuous mineralized zone of massive sulfide at 486 grams per ton silver equivalency um our our resource Target is a volcanogenic mass of sulfide uh which is a typical polymetallic uh
deposit style which can be continuous laterally and an occasional pinching and swelling um we're seeing our mineralized zones are continuous sulfidation there's there's very little interval of of non-mineralized material once you're into these mineralized zones so we're seeing extremely high grades of silver zinc and with pretty interesting grades of gold and copper as well Associated so it's a true polym metallic VMS system I think one of the uh aspects of your project is is its location could
you uh talk a little bit more about the the location where you located um and your neighbors as well absolutely so we're located in central Alaska we're about 100 kilm due south from Fairbanks uh which is a great place to Source labor and supplies for exploration and development uh Alaska is a very very mining friendly jurisdiction and one of the benefits we have is our property is entirely contained within Alaska state managed land we deal with one office the Alaska Department of Natural re
resources and we have no external interests and all of our permitting is very straightforward and simple through this department um we have very very few roadblocks or hurdles to get things going as far as exploration permits and down the road looking towards development um the the state of Alaska wants mining to be continuing and they want these projects to move forward so we're seeing a lot of uh a lot of positives for moving things along um as far as neighbors go we have a number of plaster miners surrounding us to the
north um and there's a a a private Mining Company to the south of us covering some uh similar geology but uh different part of the sequence um not much information available from them um but other than them we don't really have many other neighbor in the area we're in we uh cover our claims cover pretty much the entire bonafield mining District uh which is a historic Massa sulfide exploration Target zone so are you um what are your plans then for uh moving forward what targets you have in mind
for for your next exploration program uh well first off we'd like to spend a lot more time developing these resources uh we we see significant potential to increase both the grade and the tonnage at Dry Creek and West hundra Flats uh the historic Dr drilling was fairly Limited in depth as well as scope um and was severely hampered by you know older style drilling that was getting very poor recoveries throughout the throughout both resource zones and I think with the modern Drilling and the recoveries we saw this year we have a
really good chance to increase just from infilling the the historic zones um to to Really bulk that resource out um as well we have upwards of 15 exploration targets that have never been drill tested with geochemical or geophysical targeting surface s of you know 150 to 200 gram silver uh 10 to 15% zinc several 10% copper um rock grab samples at surface and these areas have never been really followed up or tested since their Discovery so um drill ready we have two Targets uh gallion which is in
the northeast of the property which is a a silver zinc lead Target uh and then horseshoe which is in the western side of our property um which is a little bit more of an interesting style of mineralization appears to be more zinc lead and in more classic sediment so it's potentially opening the door for sedex style mineralization in the western portion of the property where the host rocks are going from more volcanic uh origin to more sedimentary origin where you're getting more of these uh broad base metal deposition
zones so now as we you know close 2024 could you talk about some of your plans uh for the next year absolutely yeah yeah we'd like to to get some some more infield drilling uh we haven't set a meterage yet but I think would we'd like to do a significant amount of drilling for both to extend uh along strike and down dip at Dry Creek uh West Tundra Flats has significant potential in the Eastern Zone we'd really like to get some drill holes sunk along that Eastern margin to test the the depth potential
there um we'll probably spend about 20% of our drilling meterage overall on the exploration targets gallion and Horseshoe which I've already mentioned as well as working up some of our other more Regional targets that that just haven't had a chance to get any drill holes in them but have really spectacular surface anomalies all right we'll leave it at that thanks again uh Alex for taking the time to speak with me today sure yeah no absolutely have a good day and thanks everyone for
