 you guys look at you just crushed it it didn't it reached 104 on the initial launch you guys pushed it into the top 100 it's now number 40 on Amazon just absolutely amazing I want to send out my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped me out over the past couple of days and I want to show you what you've done a couple of days ago I made a video about my book sales on Amazon and how Amazon has crushed my book sales and it was very disheartening I was thinking about never writing again

and you know because it's a lot of work all that research uh and uh you guys have really turned things around you know there was a storm that just blew through here but it's nothing compared to the storm that you people created on Amazon so I want to show you some of this this is the sales going back to the launch of the book so this is back in late February the launch of the book and then we've got the uh the banking crisis Silicon Valley blows up and then you know here's uh credit Swiss and stuff I

think this was um uh First Republic Bank and then we have the sails over the this was yesterday I'm I'm doing this video on Thursday the 31st yeah Thursday August 31st so this was yesterday uh your response to the video and I am just overwhelmed by it thank you so much and I read most of the comments underneath there and it just it you know I'm not a very efficient worker so I make up for it by working all the time I'm 67. this is the time of my life where I should be retiring and going out and enjoying life

and doing some hobbies and things like that but instead I work all the time and it's because of you people this you are what keeps me going when I see comments like that and then when I see a response like this look at this you crushed the initial book launch you did this not me and then uh you know it came back down here but this snapshot comes from 11 A.M today on August 31st this uh will keep Rising until midnight tonight it won't be as big as that initial pop but I think that you may have affected future

book sales for a long time we'll see you know I do want to tell everybody there is a I I have had for months now the audiobook the ebook the Kindle version if it's on Amazon but it'll be on you know all the other formats the ebook the audiobook and a black and white version have been done for months now it's just that I've been dealing with all of these Amazon problems and until I get those browse nodes back that I that that I talk about in that other video when I get those browse nodes back I'll be able

to launch the uh the other products and so to do that I have to change the ISBN number on my current book and relaunch it as a brand new product so this is the number of books sold in this graph and like I said you absolutely crushed it this is the dollar volume not the profit the dollar volume of the total books sold so the initial launch had more dollar volume but that was at 39 bucks this is at 19 bucks you guys just absolutely crushed it and the thing is there are you know I'm trying to be

transparent here there are fixed costs such that are that are like repetitive monthly costs of having the books in a warehouse and so on uh when this Rises to such a a great extent like this it overwhelms those fixed monthly costs and I would imagine that for these few days here this book is going to be profitable and that the profit from that will offset the losses that will be coming you know this can't last forever this will drop off very rapidly but when I come out with the audiobook the e-book

and the black and white version I think that in a few years two or three years I'll be back into I will have covered all my costs I'll be into profit on this and then it provides a residual like I'm still getting checks from Amazon from the publisher for my first book uh and it's nice to just have this other source of income uh it's like a gift it's like a surprise that comes uh once a quarter basically and so I'm going to show you now we're going to go to the the book page on Amazon

and uh this was at 222 ratings just a little while ago just a few days ago we're up to 245 ratings I want to thank everybody especially there were 11 people that wrote reviews and that's very important once again if you're shopping on Amazon look at the reviews uh and look look at the ratings if there's less than 50 of these just know it's skewed toward a higher star rating if there's less than 10 it's very skewed if there's five it's absolutely worthless don't pay any attention to the

star rating then hover your cursor over it and see how many reviews are 90 percent uh I mean our five star reviews out of the total scrolling down we'll come back to this book later but um uh you guys look at you just crashed it it didn't it reached 104 on the initial launch you guys pushed it into the top 100. it's now number 40 on Amazon just absolutely amazing and when I look at the reviews that you did it's awesome I want to send out some special thanks to Greg Morrison and his awesome review video review of

the book here uh thank you very much Greg I really appreciate it um and then I I just want to go over to this book here uh this was Nathan Sloan came out with this book in 2020 so he's obviously uh riding off of that name so I wanted here's Nathan Sloan right here so this is Nathan uh and I want to show you um now he put some work into this and I I don't want to disrespect uh anything but I want to show you what I'm talking about as far as looking at the structure of the star rating so you got to look

Beyond just so here it's 42 percent five stars reviews but if you look at that one star one out of every four people gave this a one star review and so uh that's the reason that you want to look at these things now he's currently like number uh 106 000 on Amazon which isn't bad I mean we got you guys and me we got down to number 40 and this will last for a day or so uh that is awesome uh he's 106. I just saw a book by somebody that is uh in my genre they uh do commentary they

he writes a lot of books about the economy about precious metals about currency flows and stuff and uh one of his books was it was number 800 and something millionth on Amazon just to let you know how many books there are and how competitive this is so being number one hundred thousand is not bad but I again I want to thank you and I just want to let you know that there is the e-book coming the audiobook and the black and white version but of this book at a lower price now this story there was just a big thunderstorm that uh

rolled through here in Puerto Rico thunder and lightning and you guys have caused a storm on Amazon my next problem is uh that uh your response was so overwhelming that I'm actually going to be out of books very shortly I'm going to wait until they're actually out because when I do the new shipment that starts the clock ticking and I'll get that that starts the clock ticking and I'll get that message again in six months that they're either going to throw away my books or they've got to ship them

back to me but you know I want to have books on Amazon if there's a uh so I'll ship smaller quantities but I am expecting another leg to this financial crisis and at that point it will be selling and hopefully I have all the versions on there and that will stop the losses thank you very much again uh especially you people that bought a book gave it a rating and the and Greg Morrison thank you so much we'll see you next time
