And this year coming up on July 4th, that's the actual day of the 250 year anniversary of America. It would be poetic, and I'm not saying this, I do not know. It would be poetic for them to revalue gold on July 4th. But you have to think of it the right way. It's not that they're revaluing gold. It's actually a devaluation of the dollar. So all of a sudden, gold costs a lot more US dollars. and all of a sudden loaf of bread or a house or stock or a vehicle costs tremendously more US

dollars. Just think of the dollar suddenly being worth less. Not worthless, worth less. And so then you need to bring more dollars to bear to buy anything. But gold is also going to manifest as a reaction to that move. It's going to spike strongly. And they can actually put the number on it because it's arbitrary. That's why they could keep gold on the books for $35 an ounce even when it was trading at thousands of dollars an ounce. Now they could come along and say gold is now instantly revalued to $10,000 an ounce.

Pick a number, whatever. And the greater they revalue gold, the more spending power they'll have on their balance sheet for the government. And believe me, we're needing to spend a lot right now. We're looking at a billion dollars a day for this war, which has killed over a thousand children. And I said something in a recent video where I said that the Iranian people live in caves. And I didn't mean that. And I actually the way I said it, yes, I was wrong, but I said it the wrong way. I drink a lot

of caffeine. And I'm just trying to keep all my thoughts straight while I'm talking to you. There's caves along the 10,000mi coast of Iran. And they've even they're trying to lead the fly into the spider's web. saying if you escort military vessels or if you escort oil ships with military vessels through the straight, we'll let the oil ship pass because they want the Allied warships in their shooting gallery. They want US warships to go into escort other ships through the straight. That's their ideal

outcome. And that's what I was trying to express in the last video. I don't think I did it well enough. That is the beginning of things are bad before they get really bad. If allied ships go into the straight of Hormuz at all, they will be easy targets. They will be absolutely decimated. That's why the ships are holding 900 miles or kilometers away from the straight right now because China, it's known now, has given a lot of anti-ship missiles to Iran. And China was landing big cargo

planes in Iran for months and nobody knows what was on those planes. And clearly there's targeting evidence being given by the Russians to the Iranians just as there's targeting evidence given to the Ukrainians by the Americans. And I wrote the weekly letter a week or two ago and one of the things that everyone's asking me is okay so what do I do now? What can I do? I know the debt's unpayable. I know that the war is in morass. I know that there's a lot of problems with the economy. So, what do I

do? Inflation's a problem. What do I do? And I made 11 or no, it was nine items on a list and I'm going to pull out one that I want to talk about. There's a weekly team letter for the supporters of the channel, which you can be one of them. You can join the Peter Leads team. Couple bucks a month. You keep us making these videos. But number four I wanted to talk about was that keep an eye out right now because we're about to enter a worldwide recession. I knew we were going to end a recession in America.

everything that's going on with the choke points in the Middle East. That's going to lead to a worldwide recession. But this is a time where you should be keeping an eye on what you're thinking about. And if you can't afford it now, don't think that way. Just think as the prices come down, could you afford it? Be ready. Know what you're watching. You want to buy a duplex, you want to buy another house, you want to buy a boat, you want to buy somebody's business. Price that it's going to be going for

soon will be a lot lower than it is now. And you want to be ready for when the mud hits the fan and the prices all come down where maybe you have some cash or dry powder on the sideline that you can act and pounce on it when you see an insanely tremendously attractive deal. You know, take advantage of that before somebody sees the same thing and then tries to scoop it out from under you. Have dry powder cash on the sideline. Know what you're looking at ahead of time. Wait and watch as it approaches

the level that you're willing to pay for it. And I've told you so many times that more millionaires are made in the Great Depression than any time. This is going to be another millionaire maker kind of time right now. The Supreme Leader has said that all of the military bases in the Gulf Coast countries need to be closed down or else they're going to be targeted. And we always brag about we've got military bases here, here, here, and everywhere. Think of them more as targets or potential ways that a nation can lash

out to fight back against America. And they're seeing that right now in Iraq. And you can see that you notice all these jets are falling out of the air. And they keep saying, "Well, that was friendly fire." And then they don't want to use that excuse against the next jet falls. They go, "It's not friendly fire or enemy fire." One of the refueling jets is clipped another refueling jet and it crashed. So you lost another five or six US service members. plus the jet

plus the other jet had to land for safety. But the theory is or what I'm hearing is that the one jet was trying to avoid or reacting to a missile fired at them and then they turned hard and crashed into the other jet. The point is when you're living by the sword, you're going to die by the sword. We're seeing jets dropping out of the sky and they just keep telling you, "Well, it's not that. It's something else." And you know that you're being lied to. There's so

many more US military injuries and casualties and they're admitting 150 so far. I think it is now we're up to 12 American service members who have lost their lives based on an illegal war that was never authorized by Congress. So they say it's not a war. They say it's a special military action. Just rename it so that they don't have to go through the proper channels. But this was meant to be a short war. That's what they're hoping for. That's why they suddenly ramped up

and they kept coming up and saying this is going to be the biggest day of strikes ever and they just keep dropping bombs harder and harder until all of a sudden, oh wait a minute, this is an absolutely asinine strategy that will clearly not work as was explained to you many times well ahead of time and it scares me that the people making all the decisions don't even have a basic level of knowledge of understanding about more than a one-dimensional thought process. You know, Hitler said that Russia was

ready to crumble and just kick down the rotten door and the rest will fall. And then that turned out very badly. This is going to be a long war. And I'll remind you again what I said from day one that Iran will be the one to decide when this war ends 100%. But I want to mention to you how to think about it. When you see these ships and these boats and mine laying vessels blowing up on camera and you see that, what are you looking at? You're looking at your tax dollars being spent. And people say, "Well, it's not. That's

ridiculous. I pay my taxes so much. It's not going to military." Yes, it is. Go down that rabbit hole. Everything that the American military does starts with money that they spend. It always comes from the people. So when you see something like this, there goes fair pay for teachers. There goes filling potholes. There goes appropriate salaries for EMS workers, first responders, there goes appropriate salaries for firefighters. There goes healthc care benefits. And the other thing I tell you is that anything

artificial is temporary. So they come along and say, "We'll release 172 million barrels from our strategic petroleum reserves that we didn't fill up when the prices were low, but we're going to do it anyways right now." And then 32 nations came together at the same time said, "Yeah, and we'll release 400 million barrels." So call it optimistic math, call it 600 million barrels. It's an artificial action, which means it's going to affect prices of oil in a temporary time frame and

then it'll go back to where it was going to go anyway. So even though they released about 600 million barrels of oil, prices still went up that day. But you could argue that they would have gone up even more if not for the release. But I argue it doesn't matter. Doesn't matter in any way. Prices might go up a little bit. They might go down a little bit. But they're actually under the control of the decisions of the Iranian regime. And they've said that we could put oil to $150 per barrel, which

they could do today if they wanted to. And they can drive it up to $200 a barrel if they feel the need. And they will do that if they feel the need. And if the Houthi rebels start getting involved from Yemen there and they close the Bab ale straight, then all of a sudden most of the world's oil is just choked off. And there's all sorts of problems already. It'll just get worse then. And you're seeing that there's coordination between Iran and Hezbollah. And they shot about a total of 150

projectiles towards Israel. Half of which were shot down. half of which and it's absolutely frightening to me that the people make the decisions to go to war aren't even seeing the clearly obvious simple considerations that we talk about here that it'll be a long war. It'll end when Iran wants it to when they decide and it's going to be worse than Vietnam or Afghanistan or Korea maybe even close to a bay of pigs kind of idea similar in some ways that way too. The difference being though between all

of these Vietnam and Korea and Afghanistan etc. The difference is that you and I and everybody knows that this is an absolute travesty mistake and it's quicksand and it's stepping into the mud. You know it live right now. You're watching it now going, "I know this is a horrible idea." And they're going to push towards, believe me, narcissist personalities always go deeper into things rather than backing out. So, if he hasn't talked by now, he will move towards troops on the ground. And it

won't start with a draft. It'll start with special forces going in, a few here and a few there, doing things that they think will help. And then you're talking about all of the ramifications of that, including hostages, more deaths, and then a need and more acceptance from among the populace to actually send more troops into what is basically a kill zone. We've lost a quarter of our helium coming out of the straight of Hormuz, coming out of the Gulf region. And helium is used for

semiconductors. Meanwhile, you're seeing URA, which is a precursor to fertilizer. It's up 35%. That means that farmers are having to put up more money to get lower crop yields. And you tell me, do you think that that will spread into inflation? Do you think that if a farmer is selling something that cost them more to make and he got a lower yield than usual, do you think the prices might go up on that? And as long as the street is closed, you're looking at massive food insecurity for the people in the Gulf

country region. A lot of food was shipped into the Gulf and it can't bypass now. The only boats getting out are the ones that go to China. Iran sells oil at China still. They might send one to Pakistan. They're not closing the street. They're controlling who passes through it. And they have so many weapons to do whatever they want there, including underwater drones, landbased drones. They've got thousands of small ships that they can still use. You know, just because somebody says,

"Well, we took out their Navy." Doesn't mean that they took out their name. You get lied to on an almost daily basis. I do as well. We all do. There's no truth being told. And if the truth were told, and the reason that the truth is being hidden is because it's better for them to control the optics. This is all optics. What does anybody talk about the Epstein files anymore? Of course, people die in war. We absolutely have to deal with these potential weapons of mass destruction that Iraq has. We have to go

and fight the Taliban and Afghanistan. They just tell you what they need you to know so that you'll be compliant to also get behind whatever actions they want to take. And that's true whether or not the people making the decisions at the very top are scenile or not. So diesel's at $5 a gallon which will hurt farmers even more. And it also hurts mining companies. I told you that's a lot of the cost is for diesel. And I also told you the price of gold and silver has increased so much that

the diesel costs are mildly irrelevant when you're looking at $4 for a gallon of gasoline. But as promised, I'm going to put up a whole bunch of pictures of the boat. And the way it works is that I still have to do the final sea trial to make sure everything's good. And then at that point, if I'm okay with everything, then I buy the boat, which will be in May, late May. Well, this will be my home. It'll also be my stage to try. And this is why again I'll remind you why I'm getting this boat and why I'm not

getting some fancy boat show off and drive around feel good about myself or whatever the hell people do. This is going to be a tremendous stage to try and bring a little bit of good into the world at a time where I keep saying there's nothing you can do about all this horrendous horrible stuff going on. I need to try and do something. I don't know how. I don't know what, but I'm going to use this book to do that. We've clearly all lost our way as a society of people. Everyone's basing

their decisions on fear and optics. And this is leading us right into something that's happened many times before in the past. And it's going to lead to a massive amount of unnecessary death. If boats from the allies go through the straight or moves to try and escort boats, that's going to be the biggest most clearly obvious mistake with the most deaths because of that decision. And again, I don't have a horse in any race. I just feel like digging a hole and going to sitting it in and waiting

until all this plays out. I'm just telling we must not escort boats through the straight. That's a trap. It's a trap. It's a trap. Just as boots on the ground is a trap. Just as trying to get the Kurds to move into Iran is what Iran wants. Iran wants all of this. They're allowing boats to go through if they're escorted. Wow. That's some top level horror movie Yes. If you take one thing from me, Iran will decide when this war ends. full stop. And if you want to get our world famous stock

picks, you can get them right now. Just go over to peterleads.com. And by the way, become a Peter Leadeds team member, support the channel, and that way you get more videos just like this one. And I apologize because I four videos. No, this is the fourth one where I kept meaning to put more videos of my boat on the on the channel on the video and I keep forgetting because I'm totally overwhelmed right now. As you'll see, I'm back at the hotel again and running out of laundry again. I got to take off tomorrow. I had to get

about $5,000 worth of work done on my van. So, they're going to do that and then I'm going home. Hey, we got some really cool fan art. I'll put it up on the screen right now. I'll put a link to his next page where he deals with geopolitical and free world talk. So you guys can check it out if you
